The AOA pro wing stuff install.  I actually did this a while ago, but neglected to take pictures of it.  the AOA is neato.  it’s one of those cool things that I decided I really wanted.  More than anything, it gives you a very accurate reading on how much lift you have, best glide and stall warning.  I left off the old-school stall warning vane, because the stall warning tab only tells you that you’re stalling, and this instrument tells you everything in between.  make sense?  well it does to me.  One part of the install has you attaching ports to the top and bottom of the wing in specific locations, and the top port has to have some sort of drain, in case water collects in there.  I have been told though, by Rob Hickman - the head cheese over at Advanced Control Systems, that he’s had his aircraft outside in a torrential downpour, and when he went to drain the wing port, there was no water in there.  but, you have to account for the possibility.  One thing that I wasn’t sure about was the fact that the drain was on the top port inside the wing, and you had to stick a long poker (like 6-8”) through a hole in the bottom of the wing and try to hit the little drain thingy.  seemed too tough to me, so I made a little bracket that will connect to the top port with tubing, and hold the drain just above the hole on the bottom wing skin.  now, it doesn’t take much of a poker, and you don’t have to have very good aim.  The picture is pretty self explanatory...
