So we were caught up in the nutplate shenanegins of the rv-10 empennage. Included in the kit where we should have had K1100 nutplates, we had K1000s. i didn't even know they were wrong, but there was a bit of a flurry on the matronics list about it, and i was able to figure it out. the K1100s accept a dimple for a flush screw installation, and the K1000s don't. thank goodness for the matronics list. while we waited for the nutplates, i ran around and did some small other stuff, like cutting out all the foam ribs. yay bandsaw.
