The riveting begins! First we rivet nose ribs to stiffener plates, and flap attach brackets. Then we rivet ribs to the spar to make the skeleton. Next we cleco on the skins and start riveting the nose skins to the spar, and the top skin to the ribs. It's a challenge. You have to shoot and buck the rivets with your hand stuck between the skins, doing it blind. Sometimes it seems like everything on the plane just gets harder and harder.

Why did I grind the crap out of the head of this blind rivet squeezer? It's really the only way to get at these blind rivets that you are supposed to put in next to the flap attach brackets. Worked great!!

The happy part of this assembly is that all of the skin to rib rivets on the flaps are blind rivets. Now that's easy. All that's left is to proseal the trailing edge in, cleco it, and wait for the proseal to cure. Almost done!!!
