i finally got bored one day and finished the install of the false floor of the tunnel, and got the fuel system mostly together - except for the fuel selector. the false floor makes it nice, because i put nutplates on the floor of it instead of the sides of the tunnel, so it’s much much easier to install the cushion clamps for the brake lines. cool. under the false floor, i had previously painted with the ceramic heat rejection paint, and i stuck fiberglass mat faced with mylar in there as well. dammit, i shouldn’t have a hot tunnel! i also got my fuel flow sensor installed. had to make a bracket for it, cause i’m using the one that comes with the ADVANCED FLIGHT SYSTEMS AF3400. I WOULD HAVE USED THE FACET PUMP BRACKET, BUT I ALREADY RE-PURPOSED THAT ONE FOR THE PARKING BRAKE! I JUST USED THE HAND SEAMER, AND SOME ELBOW GREASE, AND GOT SOMETHING THAT WORKS WELL.
