While we waited for the rudder to dry, we also painted the Horizontal Stabilizer spar, and started on the pre-assembly. We clecoed the ribs to the spar, and also made the cradles out of some scrap plywood.

Grrr.... In some pics below you’ll see the face of a girl that isn't happy about running out of clecos. funny sidenote - after talking with some other builders, it turns out that you actually don't need to cleco EVERY SINGLE hole. We were going nutty with it, and that's why we ran out. at the time, we just thought we underestimated the amount of clecos needed. Bethany went over to Aircraft Spruce and bought 1000 more clecos. now we have waaaaayyyy too many. oh well.
