after much deburring, we got the tanks mostly together...cool. Then we install the fuel caps and filler neck. After i took a look at the stock Vans Fuel caps, i decided to go with the aftermarket lockable caps that Vans offers. it's a bit pricey, but they are lockable, and shiny. hehe. The bummer is that the curve that's milled into the filler neck is way too pronounced for the curve of the tank skin. I figured that the belt sander was the way to go, and after working it for awhile, i was able to get the fit right.

After i got the fit right, i drilled the rivet holes around the filler opening, and clecoed the neck in there.
