grrr.  i’d be done with the panel if i could nail myself down about equipment.  boy, if there’s one thing you agonize about when building an airplane, it’s the panel.  ok... you agonize about everything, but you especially agonize about the panel.  after i finally came to terms with gps units and radios, this company called vertical power came out with this super cool thing.  i agonized further about it, and finally decided that i’d go with it.  too much to explain here, but it suffices to say that it’s a unit that sort of acts like a first officer.  it does stuff when you need it done, and it tells you about it when it does it.  anyway, i’m in the throes of sorting that plan out currently.  fun fun.
