so i had this idea that i stole from someone, and i couldn’t get out of my head.  i thought a bunch how to do it, and decided that i’d go for it.  i want the lower intersection fairings to be part of the wheelpant, split down the middle.  so the first thing i did was mark the fairings, and cut them down the middle with the band saw.  fun.  then i epoxied them to the wheelpants, and also had to lay some glass around the aft end of each to close them up.  i’ll make em look pretty by sanding and glassing more later.  then i started working on the nosewheel fairing.  it’s pretty similar to the main wheelpants.  lots of sanding, fitting, etc.  after i got it mounted i had to wait for the epoxy to cure, so  i started trimming the nose gear leg fairing.  very exciting.
